From the day we opened our doors a decade ago, Gas Street Social | Birmingham has championed independence in Birmingham, featuring artists and collections adorning the walls of the various spaces as a canvas honouring the heritage and cultural references of our great city.

Samme Snow

To celebrate 10 years at The Mailbox - we have commissioned Samme Snow to produce a live installation mural in the restaurant telling the story of Gas Street Social and Birmingham.

Live Installation will take place on;

Thursday 10th + Friday 11th April.

We have also designed limited edition garms capturing the feeling of GAS STREET SOCIAL through his Keith Haring influenced doodle designs.

Stacey Barnfield

Stacey Barnfield is a Birmingham-based media consultant, designer, photographer and former newspaper editor.

Working across sketch art, photography and typographic design, he evokes places through their colours, signs, heritage and architecture, encouraging nostalgia from his viewers.

Through the Draw My City project, he captures Birmingham's past and present, old and new, framing the city that is never finished. Barnfield’s artworks are on display at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, Selfridges Birmingham, Grand Central, New Street station, the Houses of Parliament, as well as rail stations and shopping centres across the Midlands through his Colour Palette designs.

Alexander Edwards

Known as "Brumhaus," is a contemporary graphic artist, blending urban architectural forms with geometric abstraction, and modernist aesthetics in his inspiring artworks.

Born in Birmingham, UK, he admired Brum’s varied and ever-changing skyline. He is inspired modernist art, design & architecture, particularly artistic pioneers like Picasso and Klee, and design luminary Lance Wyman. One notable influence is Victor Servranckx's painting titled 'The Town’.

Brumhaus, an innovative artist, presents a unique perspective on the world through his inspiring creations, exploring the built up environment using architectural patterns and geometric shapes, highlighting the enduring influence of human ingenuity.
